So I emailed his teachers last night.
In addition to the 'hi everyone my husband didn't have a heart attack' email I emailed Liam's speech teacher asking for info on the field trip this morning because I lost my paperwork.
I got back one email. From her. That was strictly the time and directions to the field trip.
Um.
I'm really uncomfortable now.
I'm sure they feel a little foolish for being given false information...but I cannot imagine they'd be that uncomfortable? I try to put myself in that situation. I'd honestly probably laugh it off and be so thankful that it wasn't what I had thought.
But getting nothing back? Makes me all kinds of uncomfortable. *sigh* Which is not a good thing when I am supposed to go somewhere which already makes me good and uncomfortable and in the heat and takes a lot of energy.
Gah. I just feel...uncomfortable. What a silly way to explain it but there it is. I'm sure they'll act normal when I see them at the field trip but we email pretty regularly and to get nothing back not even a one liner? Gah.
Insecurities suck.

It's probably field trip time (it's noon here in the land of the Mouse) and I hope you're getting all sorts of smiles and "omg what a relief it wasn't Josh" comments in real life.

I'm going to go with That Chick and say that it's probably that she was busy getting ready for the field trip and all.
That said, I'm sorry you're uncomfortable. Hopefully it ends up being more fun than uncomfortable.

Who are they to make YOU uncomfortable? Don't let them determine anything for you. It's your kid's field trip, focus on that and let it slide right off your back.
