Sensory friendly movie! WOO HOO!

I'm super thrilled. So the autism society of america and amc theaters teamed up to do sensory friendly films. We've gone twice before. They are AMAZING. I know I've raved about them. But bring your own food. Be as loud as you want. No ads. Lights not off. Volume not as high. No big deal if people move around and enjoy themselves however wanted.

They are happening once or twice a month. Today? Monsters vs Aliens!

And it's not just for families effected with autism. It's really enjoyable experience for ANYONE with special needs. Or anyone with sensory issues (diagnosed or not.)

They are all over the county. check the link and more locations are added constantly. You might even ask your local amc theater to look into hosting these events. They are really rewarding and fantastic experiences to let people who normally aren't accepted by the movie public enjoy movies.

I know we will! So excited. It's been a while since there's been a movie appropriate for the kids. Today will be great. :)
